I had been seeing many pictures and posts raving about Tanya’s Café on Instagram, so I made sure to pay a visit during my short stay in London. Despite it being around noon on a Tuesday in end of October, I was expecting it be packed, and was pleasantly surprised to find a quiet, spacious restaurant with a choice of cozy corner tables (one of which was occupied by Millie Mackintosh no big deal) and many larger high-top tables. Chloe and I had just indulged in an absolutely massive belated homemade Canadian Thanksgiving dinner the previous night, and finding a nice relaxed place where we could take our time looking at the menu and starting with a juice while waiting for our appetite to kick back up was perfect. 35 IXWORTH PLACE
I had the “Warrior Salad” with a “My Hydration” juice and a chai spice latte and Chloe had the “Thai Curry Noodles” with a “My Glow” smoothie and a matcha latte. The food was really good, especially the Thai noodles. The juice and smoothie were also really good, both flavours are highly recommended. The hot beverages on the other hand were very powdery, which was slightly strange. It seemed as though they were flavoured with almond meal rather than almond butter as stated. We also got a hot chocolate To-Go. The flavour was quite good yet once again powdery…
